Our first-ever Freeze Your Trout Off outing at the picnic area below Abiquiu Dam was a huge success! The weather couldn’t have been better, and the turnout was fantastic — special thanks to the New Mexico Lady Anglers and Truchas Chapter’s board members.
Boot brought chili, Eric grilled up carne asada, and Dave served barbecue — with plenty of cookies, brownies, muffins, and chips to go around.
We had great conversations with Curtis from Wounded Warriors, John Lopez, and friends from the Enchanted Circle, and many anglers landed fish throughout the day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared food, and made it such an enjoyable event. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
