Donor Benefits
Stream Supporter donors will receive a public thank you in the Chapter Newsletter, their names will be listed on the website with their membership level and they will receive an acknowledgement of their gift amount.
River Steward donors will receive all the above plus a Truchas Chapter decal.
Habitat Builder donors will receive all the above plus a personalized thank you from the Board and special recognition at the Annual Members Meeting.
Coldwater Champion donors will receive all the above plus an invitation to an educational walking tour of the Santa Fe River watershed hosted by RiverSource
Legacy Pool donors will receive all the above plus an invitation to a fishing trip with a Truchas board member. Legacy Society donors will receive all the above plus an engraved recognition plaque.
The Truchas Chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
Your Donations in Action
- $20 could help provide for one student attending one Watershed Watch class in the classroom
- $60 could help pay for one student to attend a Watershed Watch data collection field trip
- $150 helps us cover one day of field training for a Watershed Academy intern
- $300 helps support one youth to attend one day at the Indigenous & Hispanic Youth Fly Fishing Camp
- $400 could provide for one student to participate in the Watershed Watch program for the year
- $500 helps us support education such as one classroom attending one Watershed Watch class OR one new Trout in the Classroom aquarium water chiller
- $600 could provide bus transportation to the river for one classroom to release trout fry and study aquatic for Trout in the Classroom
- $750 helps us support education like the training of one Watershed Academy intern in the field for a week
- $900 helps us cover the cost of one youth to attend a full three-day camp at the Indigenous & Hispanic Youth Fly Fishing Camp
- $1500 could provide for one classroom to attend a Watershed Watch data collection field trip OR one fully equipped aquarium for Trout in the Classroom
- $2500 helps cover the cost of one student STEM Scholarship (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math)
The items listed are representative of our current needs. Your flexible, undesignated gift ensures we can respond quickly to our most urgent priorities, whether it’s replacing a broken piece of equipment or covering unexpected program costs.
